Description

This is a dedicated solar viewing telescope, with a permanently mounted solar filter at the Aperture end. The "finderscope" is a specialized solar shadow style, suitable for aligning to the sun. With it, you can safely observe the surface of the sun, see sunspots, and solar eclipses when they occur. Included are a 90 degree diagonal and eyepiece optimized for solar viewing, as well as a lightweight travel tripod and a storage/travel backpack that contains all components. [Small enough to be a "carry on" "personal item" for airline travel.] The entire package inside the backpack weights in a 5 lbs. Very good used condition.
